Overview

Vishakha Apte is a graduate of JJ School of Art with a major in painting. She has received numerous awards, including the Maharashtra State Art Exhibition, the Krishna Reddy Award, an Honourable Mention in the International Print Biennial at Bharat Bhavan, Bhopal, the Camlin Art Foundation Award, a Research Grant from Lalit Kala Akademi, and a Senior Fellowship from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. Vishakha has showcased her work extensively in exhibitions, such as Grafinnova in Vaasa, Finland; the 1st Mostra International de Mini Gravura in Vitoria, Brazil; the Tokyo International Mini-Print Triennial at Tama Art University, Japan; and the 7th International Exhibition of Engraving in Versailles, France.
