Overview
Sonali Laha holds a BFA from the College of Art and Design, Burdwan, and an MFA from Hyderabad Central University. Her works have been exhibited widely, including the Art and Architecture Design Biennale and Terrain Art. Laha's accolades include a Junior Fellowship from the Ministry of Culture and the Odisha Lalit Kala Academy All India Emerging Artist Award. She has participated in notable residencies, such as the Water Color Residency at Kochi-Muziris Biennale. Laha's art focuses on mindfulness and self-love, integrating natural materials and traditional Nepali paper-making techniques.
