Overview
Born in Visakhapatnam in 1966, Shanthi Swaroopini is a multidisciplinary artist with a B.F.A. in Painting from Andhra University and an M.F.A. in Sculpture from M.S. University, Baroda. She further pursued an M.A. at the University of Kent, Canterbury, and gained international experience working at Johnson Atelier, New Jersey, and Srishti School of Art, Bangalore.
Her work has been showcased at prominent venues, including Jehangir Art Gallery, Sahmat, Delhi Art Gallery, Threshold Art Gallery, and major events like India Art Fair and Art Stage Singapore. Notable exhibitions include Clothing the Identity (2008), Mapping Memories II (2008), Verdant Memory (2017), and Trans-formative Vision (2024).
