Overview

Pranati Panda, an artist based in Gurugram, India, creates work that reflects her life experiences, seamlessly blending personal and artistic expression. Her art emerges organically, inspired by the intricacies of daily life, exploring the layers of consciousness. Nature—seeds, plants, and flowers—appears frequently in her work, symbolizing organic growth and the cycles of life.

Pranati’s process invites introspection, using materials like fabric and thread, which carry feminine symbolism. Her diverse techniques, including drawing and embroidery, explore themes of fertility, growth, and the interconnectedness of life. Each brushstroke or stitch reflects the meditative nature of creation and the cyclical journey of existence.

Holding an MFA from Delhi College of Art and a BFA from B K College of Art & Craft, Pranati debuted her solo show, *Speaking Threads*, in 2019 at Vadehra Art Gallery. She has participated in numerous exhibitions, including Delhi Contemporary Art Week and the India Art Fair. Her presence in the Indian art scene remains significant.

Currently based in New Delhi, India.
