Collection: Prachee Batra

Prachee Batra work is centred around play with children and adolescents. She explores and presents their understanding of life and the questions that surround them. Batra holds a master’s degree in visual arts, specializing in painting from MSU, Baroda, and a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Rachana Sansad, Academy of Fine Arts, Mumbai. She has been a part of several exhibitions, workshops, and residencies like Young Graduate Residency, What about Art?, Mumbai; That’s What She Said, Edwin Zoller W Gallery, Pennsylvania, USA; Master Practice Studio- Painting Workshop with T.V. Santosh, Pepper House, Kochi; Annual Exhibition Birla Academy of Art & Culture, Kolkata; Degree show, Fine Arts Faculty, Baroda; Students Biennale, Fort Kochi. Her works have been published in books and journals like Blue Bird, InPlainspeak for Tarshi, and Hakara Journal.

Currently based in Mumbai, India.
