Overview

Dianna Mohapatra is a New Delhi-based multidisciplinary artist exploring feminist discourse, gender, and sexuality through diverse mediums. Her work reimagines domestic skills as aesthetic tools to address women's lives and labor.

She holds a BFA from Dhauli College of Art and an MFA from Delhi College of Art. Mohapatra has exhibited widely, including Desh-Pardesh, Bikaner House (2025), The Art of India, India Habitat Centre (2024), and Vichitra Desh: Queer Nation (2023). Internationally, her work has been shown at Car Street Studios, Sydney (Kamasutra, 2021), and Gallery27, London (Holy Now, 2010).

A recipient of the Uttara Odisha Garba Gauraba Award (2025) and Shrishti-AIF Grant (2020), she has attended residencies at Art.I Mezz (2010) and Religare Arts Initiative (2009). Her performance art includes Palestine’s Freedom Struggle at Unurum Fest (2025) and Networking Roots (2023).

Currently based in New Delhi, India.
