Overview

Anjani Khanna is a ceramic sculptor, curator, and writer. Khanna specializes in large-scale figurative sculpture. Trained under Ray Meeker at Golden Bridge Pottery in Pondicherry, she has been an artist-in-residence in various countries including the US, Europe, Australia, China, and India. A member of the International Academy of Ceramics in Geneva, she co-founded and co-curates the Indian Ceramics Triennale and directs the Contemporary Clay Foundation. Khanna has received grants from the India Foundation for the Arts, a Senior Fellowship from the Government of India, and is an Arthink South Asia Fellow. She recently served on the curatorial selection committee of the British Ceramics Biennial.
