Collection: Aninda Singh

1982
Overview
Aninda Singh is a Bangalore-based visual artist exploring the human-nature relationship through the lens of ecology and decolonization. Her work challenges extractive practices and advocates for climate-positive action, reimagining reciprocal bonds between humans and the more-than-human world.
Her layered process involves dynamic interactions with clay, blending decayed, disintegrated forms with intricate imagery using slips, washes, and glazes. Through multiple firings, she captures the fleeting nature of existence, constructing narratives that reflect the complexities of natural habitats.
Singh’s work has been exhibited at India Design ID with Gallery Latitude 28, New Delhi (2025), Jaipur Art Week, Jawahar Kala Kendra (2025), and Contours of Contemporary, Gallery Latitude 28, Gurgaon (2024).
Currently based in Bangalore, India.
